Caution: I use colorful language and if you are a faithful Mormon you won't like what I have to say. I've avoided sharing my opinion on social media because most of my sphere of influence is Mormon. Additionally, most people don't care about my opinion (or anybody else's for that matter) when it comes to social, political or religious issues. We all live within our own world and paradigm. Ive decided to share it on my blog because I have to assume that the only reason you are reading this is because you actually want to know what I think. So... Here it is... I'm struggling with it quite a bit. More than I thought I would. Honestly it makes me want to stop all effort and move on with the life I want with my family. Too bad religion is such a huge part of it because my wife really needs it. I hate it.
I think it creates shame, barriers, confusion and unnecessary hatred. I think there is so much hipocrasy within religions. If you don't think EXACTLY how they do... there is something wrong with YOU! It's disgusting and manipulative. I FUCKING hate it. Gay church members try their hardest to disillusion themselves that the church is okay with their sexuality but they clearly are not. I wouldn't be surprised if the church threw another 5 million dollars at some LGBT organization to defend their rights just to pretend to give a shit. They say its to help eliminate confusion so that kids don't have to choose between parents and religion. WTF! How in the hell does it do that?! Furthermore, if they want to eliminate confusion for little ones... how about stop teaching kids love, tolerance, peace and light... to later deny them baptized because daddies are gay. Talk about confusing. That's it. I've said my peace. Who wants a taco?
